These two teams, separated by 16 miles down Highway 40, look to renew an old WCC rivalry with their 46th meeting Kurt Darling and the ISC Sports Network will be in town to broadcast the football game live. The Cadets are a young group with a bright future ahead with 9 starters on offense and 7 starters on defense being juniors or below. Cascade has had 7 fumbles in the last 4 weeks that has kept points off the scoreboard. Cascade will need to play great defense and run the football in order to have success Friday Night. Trebley also adds 3 rushing touchdowns on the ground. Trebley jumped into 4th place all time in passing touchdowns with his 17th of his career last week surpassing Chase Edwards at 16. SO Marcus Hobson came up with the lone touchdown reception last week for his first touchdown of his varsity career. FR Trent Austin has hauled 7 catches for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns averaging 15 yards per reception. Four Juniors continue to anchor the offensive line for Cascade. The offensive line averages in weight a combined 200lbs. Last week, the Cadets only managed 234 yards of offense against Monrovia. This group has led the way to a total of 2,839 total yards and 41 touchdowns through eight games. The offense averages 39.1 points per game. The defensive line will look to bounce back after giving up 608 yards to rival Monrovia with 573 coming on the ground. JR Duncan White leads the defensive line up front with 24 tackles, 9.0 TFL, 3 sacks and 1 forced fumble. They will need to plug holes and use their speed to contain the Eagles No Huddle Spread offense which averages over 416 yards per game.
