The final regular season contest of the year has the Cadets traveling to take on Ritter High School at Marian University. GAME DETAILS Cascade Cadets (4-4, 2-4) at Cardinal Ritter Raiders (1-6, 0-6) Time: 7p.m., Friday October 14th, 2022 Location: Marian University, Indianapolis, IN Tickets: Tickets sold at the link below Ticket Link: https://gocardinalritter.org/event-tickets SETTING THE SCENE It’s the 6th time in the history of Cascade Football that they will take the gridiron against the Cardinal Ritter Raiders. Ritter leads the all-time series 3-2. Cascade is currently on a 1 game series winning streak beating the Raiders in 2021 30-8 to give the Cadets their 3rd victory of the season. The last Ritter win between the two teams came in 2020 when the Raiders throttled the Cadets 46-0. Cascade looks to end the regular season with 5 wins for the first time since 2013 and only second time since 2006. WEEK 8 RECAP Cascade traveled to Monrovia last Friday Night for an ICC rivalry match-up. The two teams would trade punts on the opening possessions, but 3 minutes into the 2nd quarters Cascade would take a 7-0 lead. Cascade would find the end zone again with 35 seconds left to take a 14-7 lead going into halftime. The Bulldogs would take the 2nd half kickoff on a 7 minute drive to tie the game at 14-14. But it was all Cascade in the end going on a 12-0 scoring streak. Cascade would win the game 26-14. Monrovia outgained the Cadets by 20 yards, but the key difference in the game was the turnovers, Cascade was able to force two interceptions, while the offense managed to have zero. Cadets got back to .500 Friday Night and look to finish the regular season above .500 for the first time since 2013. CADET NOTES Cascade is coming off their big rivalry win over Monrovia in the Battle of I-70. Cascade is hitting on all cylinders on both sides of the football.
