Cadets Fall Short to Plainfield

The Cadet girls took their first loss of the season to a talented and strong Plainfield Quaker team 113-72. Senior Madison Goff secured the only event win for the Cadets winning the 100 butterfly event. The Cadets had several bright spots on the night. Divers Courtney Shostrand and London Moore finished 2nd and 3rd in the diving event. The trio of Molly Goff, Lilly Lanphier and McKenna Potters finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th in the 500 free. Emma Phipps and Shaelyn Skidmore finished 3rd and 4th in the 100 free. Hailey Dunn was able to grab a second place finish in the 100 backstroke. The ladies swam solid races with numerous drops in time and personal bests. The ladies record stands at 2-1 after the loss to the Quakers with another big meet against 4A Terre Haute North on Thursday.
