The Cadets, coming off a dominant 56-7 Monon Athletic Conference Championship and now shift their focus to the playoffs. The Continentals feature a balanced spread attack. On the other side of the ball, Cascade’s high-tempo Wing Raid offense will look to set the tone early pounding the ball on the ground, speeding up the tempo, and creating explosive play opportunities. The Cadets’ ability to win the line of scrimmage and maintain their trademark intensity and pace has carried them to back to back undefeated regular seasons. With everything on the line Friday Night and an opportunity to advance to the semifinals for the 4th straight year, this Week 10 home match-up will look to test Cascade straight out of the gate. CADET NOTES For the second straight year, Cascade finished off the regular season 9-0. Cascade opened up the regular season with two convincing wins over rivals, Monrovia and Danville, before rolling through the Monon Athletic Conference. Offensively, Cascade brings in one of the top scoring offenses in the state averaging 58.4 points per game and a stout defense giving up 9.6 points per game. Cascade is coming off of a season finale win at Western Boone 56-7. Cadets open up the playoffs as the road team at home Friday Night. OFFENSIVE STATISTICS 58.4 Points/Game Allowed 429.2 Total Yds/Game 259.7 Rush Yds/Game 169.6 Pass Yds/Game UNDER CENTER FOR THE CADETS Senior quarterback Brady Trebley is under center, commanding Cascade’s no-huddle Wing-T offense. During the regular season, he has been as efficient as the best of them in Indiana High School Football, Trebley has completed 92-121 for 1,486 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also has added 177 yards on the ground and 5 touchdowns. Last week vs Western Boone, Trebley completed 8-10 for 126 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air. Behind him, sophomore Luke Austin and freshman Mason Minner will provide depth in the quarterback room for the future Cadets. Brady Trebley Ranks in Career Passing History: Passing Yards (Career): 3rd (4,146) Passing TDs (Career): 1st (62) Completions (Career): 3rd (244) Completion % (Career): 1st (66.1%) RUN DOMINANCE Cascade will head into the first round of sectional against Indianapolis Washington with a three headed rushing attack that can strike on any play. Last week against Western Boone, the Cadets’ backfield had an explosive night rushing for 378 yards and averaged 11.7 yards per rush. Dayton Mink made the most of his touches, racking up 69 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 9 carries. Farmer added 101 yards and 2 touchdowns on 5 carries, while Toby Savini carried it 6 times, 94 yards and 1 touchdown. With multiple weapons capable of taking it the distance on any snap, this backfield will be a key factor as Cascade looks to wear down their sectional 29 opponents, starting with Indianapolis Washington. Toby Savini & Dayton Mink Career Rushing Ranks: Rushing Yards: Savini 3rd (2,748) / Mink 5th (2,586) Rushing Touchdowns: Savini 3rd (32) / Mink 1st (41) Yards Per Rush: Savini 1st (9.71) / Mink 6th (6.52) Career Scoring: Savini 1st (294) / Mink 2nd (272) PASS CATCHERS Cascade’s wide receiver group is deep and experienced this season, led by seniors Marcus Hobson, JT Roshong, and Delton Howrey, with junior Cooper Lievens adding additional depth. This group brings big-play potential to the edge of Cascade’s otherwise run-heavy offense, providing balance and the ability to stretch the field, a key factor as the Cadets look to keep defenses from loading the box against their powerful rushing attack. Last week against Western Boone, the wide receiver group caught 4 passes for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns, led by SR JT Roshong with 3 receptions 70 yards and 2 touchdowns. SR Marcus Hobson leads the group with 586 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns. SR JT Roshong has hauled in 17 catches for 212 yards and 3 touchdowns. Marcus Hobson Season / Career Receiving Ranks: Seasons Receiving Touchdowns: Hobson 2nd (13) Career Receiving Touchdowns: Hobson 3rd (19) / Savini 6th (12) / Roshong 7th (11) PHYSICALITY & VERSATILITY ON THE EDGE Cascade’s tight end group will continue to play a vital role in both the run and pass game, led by senior Braxton Lewis. Seniors Royce Bright and junior Trent Austin add quality depth, with all three bringing significant varsity experience dating back to their freshman seasons. Lewis is a physical force up front, consistently creating running lanes for Cascade’s explosive backfield while also serving as a reliable target in the passing game. In Week 4 against North Montgomery, Lewis hauled in two receptions for 35 yards, while Austin added one catch for 30 yards. In the Week 5 matchup against Frankfort, Lewis caught one pass for 13 yards, showcasing his versatility. The tight end group had a quiet season in the pass game, but their presence was still felt in the run game. As the Cadets prepare for their Week 10 game against Indianapolis Washington, look for this group to continue being a dominant presence in the run game while providing timely contributions through the air when needed. HOGS UP FRONT The Cadets’ offensive line has been a major driving force behind Cascade’s success early in the 2025 season, paving the way for an offense that is averaging 429.2 yards per game. In Week 9 against Western Boone, this unit had a strong showing, helping the Cadets rack up a season low 504 total yards of offense with 378 of it coming on the ground. This year’s line features one senior, two juniors, and two sophomores, with only one returning starter from last season. Senior Brody Duncan provides leadership and stability up front, while juniors Wyatt Minardo and Dillon Setty hold down the tackle spots with toughness and consistency. Sophomore Eric Appleby starts at center, and sophomore Gunner White rounds out the group at left guard. Despite their youth, this line has quickly developed into a physical, cohesive unit, setting the tone for Cascade’s fast, run-heavy attack and giving their deep backfield room to thrive. Their continued growth will be key as the Cadets look to take it one week at a time in Sectional 29. DEFENSIVE STATISTICS 9.6 Points/Game Allowed 153 Total Yds/Game Allowed 54 Rush Yds/Game Allowed 99 Pass Yds/Game Allowed 21 Takeaways (11 INTs/10 Fumble Recovery’s) RUN GAME STOPPERS Cascade’s defensive front will look to set the tone this week on the defensive line vs Indianapolis Washington. Senior Dominic Appleby, Senior Bentley McClellan and JR Jacob Healy will get the start this week. This group has dominated the run game with plugging holes and shutting down running backs all season long. This group is giving up just 54 yards per game on the ground and have allowed 1 rushing touchdown all season. This group has been the tone setter for physicality and last week against Western Boone, they turned in their most dominant performance of the season, holding the Stars 1,000 yard running back to just 76 yards rushing. With momentum building and weather temperature dropping, Cascade’s defensive line will look to be a dominant threat if the Cadets want to make a push into late November. HIT SQUAD Cascade’s most experienced defensive unit lines up at linebacker, where seniors Braxton Lewis, Toby Savini, and Baynx Stirling, along with sophomore TJ Turner, will look to continue their physical presence as a unit. Senior Delton Howrey and Junior Trent Austin will provide depth as the primary backup to the outside linebackers. This group brings a strong combination of leadership, toughness, and athleticism, making them a key component of Cascade’s defense. In Week 9 against Western Boone, SR Baynx Stirling and TJ Turner both led the team with 9 tackles each. SR Toby Savini added in another 8 tackles. SR Braxton Lewis added in another 7 tackles. This group has been known for setting the physicality in games and doesn’t shy away from contact. This linebacker unit will be critical during the post season to slowing down teams. NO FLY ZONE Cascade’s secondary is led by seniors Marcus Hobson and JT Roshong, along with juniors Lucas Farmer and Michael Langley. Since letting up 226 yards through the air on big plays during the North Montgomery week 4 contest, Cascade No Fly Zone has been on a tear, giving up just 62 yards per game through the air over the last 5 weeks. Last week vs Western Boone, this group held the Stars to just 59 yards passing on 19 attempts. Playing with confidence, Cascade’s defensive backfield is ready to play a pivotal role as the Cadets enter sectional play. KICKERS Junior Brogan Trump continues the kicking duties for the Cadets. Trump has been almost automatic for the PATs. For the season, Trump is 68-74 on the year, had a record breaking PAT game vs Greencastle converting 12 of 12 to break the PAT record in a single game (Previously held by Brogan Trump, 2025) and leads the state in all 6 classes for PATs made. Trump is inching closer to the single season PAT record, previously set by Max Stucky in 2024 with 69. Trump averages 47 yards on his kickoffs. SR Gabriel Glaze is another weapon that has come on strong in the kickoff department averaging 54.9 yards per kick with 10 touch backs on the season. SCOUTING THE CONTINENTALS Indianapolis Washington is led by 1st year Head Coach Ramon Stallings. He is 3-5 overall at Indianapolis Washington and 16-28 overall in 6 years. Last week, Indy Washington defeated Indy Tindley 22-12 to wrap up the regular season at 3-5.
